What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a lifestyle that enhances the quality of life by taking away pain and providing patients with more energy to be able to do the things they enjoy. The profession is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders caused by stress. Stress can be of a physical, emotional or chemical nature and can store into our bodies as tension which leads to pain and discomfort. The goal is the treat the source of the pain and not just the symptoms otherwise the pain will just keep coming back.

The key to chiropractic care is spinal adjustment. This is the way doctors of chiropractic correct joint misalignment. To do that, the doctor applies pressure to the bone and "unlocks" it from its improper position. The bone will then be free to align itself correctly. Unfortunately the muscles connected to misaligned vertebrae get used to their positions and have a tendency to pull the bone back out of place. It may take several adjustments before the adjustment "holds" and the bone settles into its proper alignment.

Can Chiropractic help?

You don't need to live with it, chiropractic can help you get to the root of the problem, set your body up to heal, and restore your health.
